Then this is not automatically a sign of weakness &#8211; it is often an indication that your <b>nervous system<\/b> has been running in stress mode for a long time. Women aged 40+ with a lot of responsibility are particularly familiar with this: working during the day, unable to switch off in the evening, sleeping restlessly at night.  <\/p><p>Our nervous system switches roughly between <b>tension (alert)<\/b> and <b>relaxation (regeneration)<\/b>. If there is too much going on at the same time (job, family, mental to-do lists, emotional issues), the body tends to remain &#8220;alert&#8221;. And then &#8220;finally getting off work&#8221; is sometimes not enough to really wind down. The good thing is that you can teach your system to feel safe again &#8211; without big programs, but with <b>minute routines<\/b>.   <\/p><p><b>3 mini-steps to reduce stress (without pressure)<\/b><\/p><p><b>1) Exhale for longer (60 seconds)<\/b><br>Breathe in through your nose &#8211; and exhale for twice as long. This can help your system to let off the gas. <\/p><p><b>2) Ground contact (30 seconds)<\/b><br>Place both feet firmly on the floor. Feel the support. It sounds simple &#8211; but for many people it is a real &#8220;anchor&#8221; when their head is spinning.  <\/p><p><b>3) Evening conclusion (2 minutes)<\/b><br>Write down 3 words: &#8220;What was a lot of today?&#8221; This gives your day an end &#8211; and a signal to your nervous system: <i>it&#8217;s time to take a break.<\/i> <i><\/i><\/p><p><b>How d\u014dTERRA products can accompany you<\/b><\/p><p>No promises of a cure &#8211; but as <b>loving support<\/b> in your routine:<\/p><ul><li><b>Essential oils for the moment of rest:<\/b><br>A calming fragrance in the evening (e.g. lavender) in the diffuser or rub 1 drop in your hands and smell consciously: not &#8220;because it solves everything&#8221;, but to give the body a clear ritual: <i>Now is the time for rest.<\/i><i><\/i><\/li><li><b>Citrus oils for the day when you&#8217;re feeling heavy and overwhelmed:<\/b><br>Many people find fresh scents brightening and clarifying &#8211; ideal as a mini-reset between two appointments.<\/li><li><b>Vital substances as an &#8216;inner foundation&#8217;:<\/b><br>If you give a lot, a simple vital substance routine (micronutrients) can help you feel more stable overall. Not as a substitute for sleep, breaks and boundaries &#8211; rather as a foundation to help your body feel better.
